Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. She was born on the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 70s. She was able to survive on a student salary and part-time work in order to make ends meet. When she was at the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied by her performance in comparison to her fellow students and she pondered what alternative path she might follow. Lennox started out as musician with the group Dragons Playground. She left the band before the band went on I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. She was the singer for The Tourists a British pop band between 1977 and 1980. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox was later able to record her solo debut album Diva. The album was released in 1992. The album was a massive hit with regard to sales and critically acclaimed. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album debuted in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs most loved soul jazz and blues songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera is a collection of four piano improvisations was published by Lennox in May 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her first independent album and a companion to her art work made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let you Go... Annie Lennox (born December 25, 1954) is a Scottish politician and singer. The latter part of the 70s was when Lennox gained some not-so-great fame while part in The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international recognition in the 80s as Eurythmics. Lennox's debut album in 1992 Diva featured a number of hit songs, including Why and Walking on Broken Glass.
