A versatile stage actress who has been relegated mostly to comedy shows that air on TV, Anita Barone received her best shot in the medium when she played spouse to Jeff Foxworthy on "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," which was a one-season show on ABC between 1995 and. Barone's debut on stage began at age five in Detroit in the city to which her family moved after moving to the city from St Louis. She had performed in over 50 shows by the age of 23, mostly local theatres, as well as university productions.
